Michael Ray Haynes, 72, of Nederland, Texas passed away Sunday, April 12, 2020. Michael was born September 17, 1947 in Pineville, Louisiana to William and Jeanette Haynes. He served in the United States Army and retired from Chevron. Michael was passionate about his family and loved his grandchildren dearly. He was a friendly and outgoing person with a huge personality. Michael knew everybody and was thoughtful of them all.

Michael was preceded in death by his parents, William Haywood Haynes and Jeanette Estelle Ryland Haynes. Those left to cherish loving memories are his loving wife of 53 years, Linda Gayle Haynes of Nederland; sons, Kevin Haynes and his wife, Paula of Nederland; Brent Haynes of Port Neches; grandchildren, Hunter Haynes of The Woodlands; Tyler Haynes of Port Neches and Brentley Haynes of Port Neches; sister, Dewana Mann and her husband, Dale of Port Neches and a host of friends and relatives.

Due to COVID-19 the Haynes family will have a private graveside service at Oak Bluff Memorial Park.
