Michael "Mike" Joseph Hess

Michael “Mike” Joseph Hess, 75, of Nederland, Texas passed away on Thursday, April 9, 2015 at The Medical Center of Southeast Texas. He was born on September 12, 1939 in Memphis, Tennessee to the late Mr. & Mrs. Leo Hess. He worked in maintenance and was also a member of St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church where he served as an usher.

Mike is survived by his wife, Mary Valverde Hess of Nederland, TX; son, Michael Ray Hess of Honolulu, HI; brothers, Pat Hess of Memphis, TN, Jimmie Hess of Jacksonville, MS, and Charles Hess of Panama City, FL; and two grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his parents; two sisters; two brothers; and his daughter.

Visitation will be at 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Monday, April 13, 2015 with a Memorial service at 6:00 p.m. at Melancon’s Funeral Home in Nederland.
