Michael Earl Parrish

Michael Earl Parrish, 65, of Groves, passed away Thursday, September 26, 2019. Michael was born September 26, 1954 in Port Arthur to Peggy Robertson Mannino and the late Richard “Dickie” Parrish. He was employed with Lamar College Port Arthur where he was an HVAC instructor. He also served his country in the U.S. Army.

Michael is survived by his wife, Chandra Parrish of Groves; his daughter, Michelle Paszkiewicz and her husband Adam of Groves; his mother, Peggy Mannino of Gulf Breeze, Florida; his two grandchildren, Xavier and Skylar Parrish; his sisters, Karen Stevens and her husband Billy of Crystal Beach, and Malinda Parrish of Gulf Breeze, Florida; his brother, Rick Parrish and his wife Carolyn of Groves; his brother-n-laws, Viron Barbay and his wife Susan of Milam, and Troy Barbay and his wife D’Lana of Orangefield; his sister-n-laws, Paula Britten and her husband Paul of Clyde, and Charla Easterbrook and her husband Mark of Connecticut. He is preceded in death by his father Richard Parrish, step-father, Benny Mannino and brother Robb Parrish.

A gathering of family and friends will begin at 5:00 p.m. with his service to follow at 6:00 p.m. Tuesday October 1, 2019 at Melancon’s Funeral Home in Nederland.
