Michael Wayne Prince, 52 of Port Arthur, Texas passed away Monday, October 24, 2011 at Christus St. Elizabeth Hospital in Beaumont, Texas. Michael was born August 26, 1959 in Port Arthur, Texas to Sydney J. and Jewell Prince. He was a lifelong Port Arthur resident and worked as a contractor for LeBlanc Construction and Austin Industries. He was preceded in death by his parents, Sydney and Jewell Prince; brother, Sydney J. Prince, III; and niece, Karrie Prince. Survivors include his three sons, Michael Prince, Jr. of Port Arthur, Chad J. Prince of Port Arthur, and Jeremy Prince Howell of Beaumont; one brother, Nolton J. Prince and wife, Cheryl of Nederland; ganddaughter, Elyna Prince Howell; and his nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be at 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, October 26, 2011 at Levingston Funeral Home in Groves, Texas with Reverend Monsignor Dan Malain officiating. Burial will follow at Oak Bluff Memorial Park in Port Neches. A visitation for family and friends will be held on Wednesday from 12 noon-2:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
