He was born in Orange, Texas on May 30, 1950 to Wilburn William and Nellie Pearl Spikes Whittington.A gathering of family and friends will be held at on Wednesday, May 29, 2013 from 1:00 p.m. to 2:30 p.m. prior to the graveside service at Melancons Funeral Home in Nederland. A graveside service will be held at Oak Bluff Memorial Park in Port Neches on Wednesday, May 29, 2013 at 3:00 p.m., Rev. Mike Eaves officiating.He is preceded in death by his mother, Nellie Whittington.
