Miguel “Migo” Núñez, 46, of Port Arthur, passed away on Monday, December 5, 2022, at Memorial Hermann SW Hospital in Houston, Texas.

” A Celebration of Life” memorial service will be held on Saturday, December 17, 2022, at 2:00 p.m. at Levingston Funeral Home in Groves, Texas.

Miguel was born in Port Arthur, Texas on July 29, 1976. He was the 3rd child of Carlos and María Núñez. He was a lifelong resident of Port Arthur, Texas. He worked in many local restaurants because he loved serving people. In his free time, he liked going to the movies with his sister and playing Jeopardy against her. He loved playing video games, board games (especially Scrabble), card games (UNO and Rummy), going to the casino, and enjoyed listening to music. Also, he loved watching sports, especially the Dallas Cowboys and the Houston Astros. He even went to several games. He was a big kid. He got along with everyone and didn’t let his problems get in his way. He lived life to his fullest. Miguel will be missed by many.

He is preceded in death by his parents: Carlos and María Núñez.

He is survived by his brother Carlos Núñez and his nieces Olivia and Raya of Boerne, Texas; and his sister, Carolina Núñez of Port Arthur; and an extended family in the SE Texas area and various other places.
