Mildred Maxine Fischer

Mildred Maxine Fischer, 91, of Groves, Texas passed away Sunday, April 24, 2016 at Harbor Hospital in Beaumont, Texas. Mildred was born October 22, 1924 in Horatio, Arkansas to T. C. Johnson and Bessie Crowell Johnson. She was a resident of Groves for 76 years and member of Friendship Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Wilbert Fischer; son, Craig Fischer; two sisters, Margaret Holberg and Helen Montgomery. Survivors include her son, David Fischer of Beaumont; three grandchildren, three great-grandchildren, and one great-great grandchild. A visitation for family and friends will be Tuesday, April 26, 2016 from 5:00 p.m.-8:00 p.m. at Levingston Funeral Home in Groves. Graveside services will be held at 10:00 a.m., Wednesday, April 27, 2016 at Greenlawn Memorial Park.
