Mildred Elizabeth Gillette, 95, of Port Arthur, Texas passed away Monday, July 17, 2017. Mildred was born July 3, 1922 in Port Arthur, Texas to ONeil Joseph Landry and Lula Dupuy Landry. She was a lifelong area resident and member of St. Peter the Apostle Catholic Church in Groves. She was preceded in death by her husband, Everett Gillette and brother, Nolan Landry. Survivors include her two daughters, Vicki Margita and husband Bill of Sugar Land, and Patti Lindsey of Nederland; one son, Richard Gillette and wife Okcha of Denton; sister, Grace Crochet and husband Robert of Austin; brother, Raymond Landry and wife Carolyn of Kingwood; grandchildren, Meesung Gillette, Larry Gregory, Cody Gregory, and Tracy Gregory. Funeral services will be at 10:00 a.m., Saturday, July 22, 2017 at Levingston Funeral Home in Groves with Reverend J. C. Coon officiating. Burial will follow at Greenlawn Memorial Park. A visitation for family and friends will be Friday evening from 4:00 p.m.-7:00 p.m. at the funeral home.

Vicki, I feel your Mother had true grace. She was a light that added sunshine to this world. . I remember her smile and the laughter she could bring to a room. I am so sorry for your loss. My prayers are with you and Bill.
