To my adopted mom, dear friend and role model: There are no words to describe what a beautiful person you were. You touch so many people’s lives with your kind heart, smiles and hugs each day. I was truly blessed to be one of those people. You took me under your wing and into your family without blinking an eye. You let me be part of your loving family, gave me friendship, showed me compassion and taught me how to be the best that I could be and never expected anything in return, except to pay it forward. You were always there for me, offering your great big hugs, words of encouragement and a shoulder to lean on whenever needed. Thanks for everything and I will carry your memory in my heart forever. You will be forever missed. Love you always, Valerie (Sis)

So soft and sweet but also Strong and Steady. This lady showed me how to be a man and always reminded me of how she did it. Beautiful smile, contagious laugh and she gave the best hugs ever. Thank You Honey for everything!!! I Love You and Miss you dearly.

You are a wonderful, loving and beautiful Lady. I feel awful to know that our plans to bring the kids to come see you in December will not happen again. You treated us like family the moment you met us more than a decade ago and remain part of our family. We love you and wanted you to stay longer here with us, but Jesus saw and understood how wonderful you have been here on earth, He saw and fully understood how much love you have and how much you continue to give and then decided to call you home to Himself to rest and dine with Him. You deserve that. You are gone from us physically but will remain with us forever, wherever we go till we see you again where there would never be anymore pain, no more sorrow and no more tears. Continue to rest in the presence of The Prince of Peace, The one who loves you more than we all you. "HUGS" to you.

You know how much we love you. There are no words to describe your love to us. You have a big heart to treat us as family. We will always remember your laugh, your kindness, your love, your faithfulness, your sense of humor. The days we sat in a row worshiping our Lord, our Sunday gatherings, they will always be our memories to cherish. Your taught me how to be a Cajun: dirty feet, warm heart, and thank you for being part of our life, we love you and miss you so much. Stay with God, wait for us to meet again.
