Mildred "Millie" Keenan Resch Mildred "Millie" Keenan Resch, 81, of Bridge City, Texas passed away to be with her Lord, Jesus Christ on Sunday, June 5, 2016 at Cypress Glenn Nursing Home in Port Arthur, Texas. She was born on March 12, 1935 in Beaumont, Texas to Charles and Irene Keenan. Millie was a member of Well of Hope Church in Bridge City and had been a Home Health Nurse for 31 years. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, June 8, 2016 at Levingston Funeral Home in Groves with Elder Shane Richardson officiating. A visitation for family and friends will be Wednesday from 1:00 p.m. until service time at 2:00 p.m. She was preceded in death by her parents and her daughter, Terri Tamplin Brown. Millie is survived by her husband of 51 years, Billy Resch of Bridge City, three daughters, Robin Resch Crow and husband Troy of Orange, Christie Resch Carr and husband Donald of Bridge City, and Connie Tamplin Furby and husband, Kenneth of Port Neches, step daughter, Kaye Resch Gilmore and husband Jerel of Kingwood, step son, William Kent Resch of Huntington Beach, CA and thirteen grandchildren. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. Millie had a host of grandchildren which she loved to be with.
