I knew Billy and Jenny when I was a child thru their relationship with my parents, Herbert and Vivian Owens in Center. Our times together were spent laughing and enjoying his joke telling as well as his genuine love. Billy was the best joke teller I know and I wish he had written them down. I will miss him and look forward to seeing him again in Heaven. My sympathies to all the family. Love

Mr. Cox was an amazing person who loved to share stories, make jokes, and play during therapy sessions. He was admired for his Independence, strong will, sharp mind, and warm heart. Mr. Cox would tell me stories about being in the Philippines (I am Filipino) and would call me his "Filipino Baby" because of my age and smile. I enjoyed spending my days engaging Mr. Cox in fun, challenging, therapeutic activities in preparation for him to go home. Though I've only known Mr. Cox the few weeks he resided at Oaks, I will never forget his smile, voice, and strength.

Uncle Billie was a character!! He had a joke for any occasion. His presence lit up the room. I often spent the night with Karen as a child and enjoyed every minute of those nights because of having fun with Karen, Uncle Billie making us laugh and Aunt Jenny in the kitchen preparing something from her garden in the kitchen. My heart goes out to everyone close to him. He was one of a kind and a dear uncle to me during trying times. God bless you Karen, Rodney, Vickie and all of the Cox clan. I love you all.

Billy Cox was my sister's father in law. I have known him for 40 years. I will miss him very much. He always had jokes to tell. Since both of my parents passed away years ago he and his wife were like my 2nd parents. We were always invited to the family get together. Rest In Peace Pawpaw ❤️❤️❤️

I'm so sorry for your loss, Karen, Rodney and family. My thoughts and prayers are with you all. Uncle Billy was my dad's favorite uncle, and I always understood why. He was a big hearted man with a strong love for his family. He always had one of his jokes ready to share along with his big sweet smile.♥️
