Barbara, I was very saddened to learn of Glenn's passing. If I had known in time, I would have been there for the services. We go way back to high school days, as you know. Glenn was part of an outstanding group of friends - Grady, Clovis, Ben, Ray, Bobby and others. The circle gets smaller... Darwin

Barbara, I heard of Glenn's passing not to long ago. I am so sorry. He was my favorite resident at Autumn Leaves. I enjoyed carrying on conversations with Glenn. He always made me laugh. I was always waiting for the day he would help me peel that 40 pound box of potatoes. He also kept me on my toes by trying to see where he wandered off to. I will always keep that gentleman in my heart and thoughts. I loved him. John Kowalski

Glenn Smith, a handsome man, always well-groomed even on a visit to the Sharp farm in West Virginia. Being in his presence brought a sense of peace for he was so soft spoken; an unusually clear soothing baritone voice so pleasing to the ear with never a harsh overtone. One listened, learned and enjoyed his words. When family members asked, he shared his expert knowledge of medicine. Uncle Si Sharp, for instance. Thomas Shipley was told, "Slow Mag. has been known to relieve muscle spasms." Barbara, our heartfelt sympathy to you and your fine family. Next time we sing "Royal Telephone" surely we will feel Glenn's presence.

Glenn and I have been friends since UT pharmacy school days. I met him in class in 1958.We sat next to each other because of our names and the seating was by alphabet. I will miss my friend. He is the reason I live in Orange. When I graduated he told me he was going home to practise in Port Neches. I found a job in Orange to be close to him. It was here that I met my wife and raised my family. We all live in Orange now. Nate Smith RPh
