I just found out today that Minnie passed away in January. Minnie was a true friend and never turned away someone in need. She loved Jesus and was more than happy to let you know it. If you spent a little time with her, she’d make you laugh, tell you a good story, and you knew she cared. When she spoke of her family, that’s when she was most alive. She loved them so much. I’ll miss seeing & talking to her, but she’s in Heaven forever, and we’ll see her again. Praise the Lord!

What I remember most are all the Sundays Kade and I spent with Renee and Jaden at Miss Minnie’s apartment. We always had the best time and she had the best stories. The boys loved her so much and she loved watching them. Mimi, you are gonna be missed, for sure! But there is no doubt in my mind that Jaden greeted you at the gate and took you straight to see where Tom Selleck‘s Mansion is gonna be! We all love you so much! Until we meet again...

I couldn’t share them all but a common denominator was love. Mrs Tomplait had a large pot of rice and gravy at about every meal I ever had at her place. We’d pack a small 2-bedroom house with as many people that looked like they were waiting for the next iPhone to be release. There was always room. I spent many a days with her, Todd, Renee, Dee Lane and Chris.... all the kids and all the tag-alongs, like me. We sang and made music, and there always had to be some sort of spat between Dee Lane and Renee on how a song was sung or which chord went where. This is the part of life I hate, the part that moves forward and the part that thins as our own time approaches. I’m certainly going to miss her but think on those times of the past. Love to all the Tomplait family. Always always.

Minnie will be greatly missed, she had a way of getting into your heart. My heart is hurting and my eyes won't stop watering. I have so many favorite memories of her but this particular one comes with a photo. While have a fun night at Helen and Shirley's, Minnie went to the restroom and decided to make us laugh by coming out wearing one of Helen's wigs. She was always making us laugh. We will see you soon Minnie! Love and prayers, Allyson
