Miriam Catherine Castle

A Rosary service will be held from 7:00 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. Monday May 28, 2012 at Levingston Funeral Home. Miriam Catherine Juhas Castle died on May 23, 2012 in Kingwood, TX. She was 91. Hers was a rich, full life, well lived. She was loved by all who knew her. Originally from New Orleans, Louisiana, in 1945 she married Capt. Aubrey Maxwell "Max" Castle, Jr. and together they spent many years in Groves, TX, where they raised their five children and attended Immaculate Conception Catholic Church. Miriam and Max were married more than 52 years when in 1997 he preceded her in death. Survivors include their children; Mimi Castle Monks and her husband Billy of Kingwood, TX; David Castle and his wife Judy of DeRidder, LA; Rev. Nathan G. Castle, O.P. of Menlo Park, CA; Mike Castle and his wife Kathy of DeRidder, LA; and Cathryn Castle Whitman and her husband Marcus of Parkdale, OR. Additionally, 11 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren survive her. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Levingston Funeral Home in Groves, TX. Visitation on Monday, May 28th is from 5 to 7 p.m. with a Rosary service beginning at 7 p.m.-7:30 p.m. A funeral mass will be celebrated on Tuesday, May 29th at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Groves, TX, beginning at 10 a.m., followed by a reception at Marino Hall.
