Mitchell Roebuck

Mitchell Roebuck, 65, of Vidor, Texas passed away March 13, 2020. He was born on August 28, 1954 to the late Albert Durham Roebuck and Clarice Waddell. Mitchell served his country proudly in the U. S. Army and worked for Hauck Enterprises for twenty-seven years.

Those left to cherish Mitchell’s memory are his loving wife of forty-six years, B.J. Roebuck; his daughter, Summer Etheredge and her husband Woodfin of Leesburg, Georgia; his son, Casey Roebuck and his wife Pam of Vidor, Texas; his sister, Kim DeRouen and her husband Scott of Lake Charles, Louisiana; his grandchildren, Zoey Etheredge, Blake Roebuck, Clayton Roebuck, and Ashlyn Roebuck; and several nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his parents; his sisters, Victoria Roebuck, Shirley Roebuck, and Angela Roebuck; and his brother, Terry Roebuck.

A gathering of family and friends will be held on Tuesday, March 17, 2020 at Melancon’s Funeral Home in Nederland from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, March 18, 2020 at Melancon’s Funeral Home at 6:00 p.m.

Grew up with Mitchell he was my stepbrother only really knew him when we were young but he was always good to me we went separate ways as we got older only seen him a couple of times but no he was a good dad and grandpa and loved his kids dearly

This beautiful person stepped up when my parent’s wouldn’t.....I’m so thankful he was apart of my life. Wasn’t my biological dad but he showed me very well what one does. I’m gonna miss that half smirk when something or someone tickled him a bit and that raspy voice.
