Molly Burris, 89, of Port Acres, Texas passed away Thursday, June 7, 2018 at Harbor Hospice in Beaumont, Texas. Molly was born November 7, 1928 in Cottonport, Louisiana to Philo Gauthier and Mildred Albarado Gauthier. She was a resident of Port Acres for 60 years and longtime member of Bethel Baptist Church in Port Acres. She was preceded in death by her husband, Eugene Thomas Burris; sister, Margaret Gauthier; and brothers, Ray Gauthier and Jay Gauthier. Survivors include her daughters, Karen Sadler and husband Pat of Nederland, Kerry McLeod and husband Mack of Port Acres, Karol Litchfield and husband Keith of Taylor Landing; brothers, Tony Gauthier and wife Ann of Bridge City, and Davis Gauthier of San Antonio; grandchildren, Chad McLeod, Ryan McLeod, Britney McQuillin, Krista Garrie, and Michael Litchfield; and ten great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be at 2:00 p.m., Sunday, June 10, 2018 at Levingston Funeral Home in Groves, Texas with Reverend James Lea officiating. Burial will follow at Memory Gardens Cemetery in Nederland. A visitation for family and friends will be held on Saturday evening from 6:00 p.m.-8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
