Myron Lea Mahon, 63, of Port Neches passed away on Tuesday, January 10, 2017 at the Medical Center of SETX in Port Arthur.

Myron was born in Colorado City, TX on June 21, 1953. He is the son of Mary Nell Lea Mahon and the late Bryan G. Mahon. He was a resident of Port Neches since 1991. He was a retired Sr. Analyzer Field Technician. He always had a smile, a great laugh, a story to tell and a song to sing. He loved the Lord, loved his family and friends and loved life.

Those left to cherish Myron’s memory are his loving wife of 41 years, Mary Beth Riggins Mahon of Port Neches; daughter, Kaylea Andrews and husband, Zach of Vidor; son, John Mahon of Coldspring, TX; mother, Mary Nell Mahon of San Angelo, TX; sister, Emily Bullock and husband, Joe of Fort Worth, TX; brother, Monte Mahon and wife, Becky of San Angelo, TX and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and his four-legged child, Freebie.

There will be gathering of family and friends on Friday, January 13, 2017 from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. with the funeral service to follow at 11:00 a.m. at Nederland Avenue Church of Christ in Nederland, TX under the direction of Melancon’s Funeral Home.
