Nellen Venable, 93, of Port Neches, passed away on Wednesday, May 16, 2018 in Port Arthur.

Nellen was born in Abbeville, LA. on September 12, 1924 to the late, Isaac DesOrmeaux and Alice Geoffroy DesOrmeaux.

Nellen is survived by several loving nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Eulice Venable; brothers; Raymond DesOrmeaux, Sabrey DesOrmeaux and Emery DesOrmeaux; sister; Treva "Sis" Broussard.

A graveside service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Monday morning, May 21, 2018 at Oak Bluff Memorial Park in Port Neches. Services are under the direction of Melancon's Funeral Home in Nederland.
