Nellie Margaret Dailey

Nellie Margaret Dailey, 90, of Groves, Texas passed away Tuesday, April 10, 2012 at the Medical Center of Southeast Texas. She was born June 8, 1921 in Jasper, Alabama to E. A. Rutledge and Pernie Kilgore Rutledge. Nellie was a resident of Groves for 71 years. She was employed as a sales clerk and buyer for Dryden's and retired after 25 years of service. She was a longtime member of Friendship Baptist Church. Survivors include her sister, Lucille Roberts of San Jose, CA; nephews, Richard Everett and wife, Debbie of Buna, David Everett and wife, Marilyn of Bridge City, Robert Everett and wife, Susan of Bridge City, Ricky Dailey and Mark Dailey; and niece, Jolene LeBlanc. Funeral services will be at 10:00 a.m., Friday, April 13, 2012 at Levingston Funeral Home in Groves with Reverend Cliff Carlin officiating. Burial will follow at Greenlawn Memorial Park. A visitation for family and friends will be held on Thursday evening from 6:00 p.m.-8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
