Nelva Hazel Goff, 83, of Nederland, TX, passed away Thursday August 4, 2016.

Nelva was born August 25,1932 in Mayflower, TX to the late Eli Zenith and Lora Octavia Clark Phelps. She was a homemaker and a member of First Baptist Church in Nederland, TX.

She is survived by her daughter, Nelva Kay Goff of League City, TX; son, Kenneth Goff of Nederland, TX; sister, Marie Harris of Groves, TX. Nelva is preceded in death by her parents, husband, Jack Kenneth Goff and grandson, Jack Kenneth Goff.

There will be a gathering of family and friends Sunday August 7, 2016 from

2:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. at Melancon’s Funeral Home. A Celebration of her life will be at First Baptist Church in Nederland, TX on Saturday, August 13, 2016 at 1:30 p.m., in the great room.
