Nettie Jean Watterson

Nettie Jean Watterson, 92, of Nederland, Texas passed away Sunday, May 13, 2018 at her residence. Nettie was born June 1, 1925 in Dermott, Arkansas to Frank Dennington and Lucy E. Hooks Dennington. She was a resident of Nederland for 30 years and a former 31 year resident of Groves. Nettie was a homemaker and a member of First United Methodist Church in Nederland. A graveside service will be held Friday, May 18, 2018 at 3:00 p.m. at Oak Bluff Memorial Park under the direction of Levingston Funeral Home Port Neches. Nettie was preceded in death by her husband of 65 years, Ralph C. Watterson, Sr. Surviving relatives include her daughters, Susan Buckley and husband Edgar of Roanoke, Texas, Deborah Carver and husband Myles of Kingwood, Texas; son, Ralph Watterson, Jr. of Nederland, Texas; 4 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren.
