Nevelyn Marie Rutherford Nevelyn Marie Rutherford, 80, of Groves, Texas passed away peacefully on Thursday, May 31, 2018. Nevelyn was born January 8, 1938 in Port Arthur, Texas to Bervic Morgan and Myrtle Spell Morgan. Nevelyn was a lifelong area resident and member of First United Methodist Church of Groves. She retired as a clerk from Port Neches-Groves ISD after many years of service. She was preceded in death by her husband, Dalton Rutherford. Survivors include her sons, Dale Rutherford and wife Lori of LaBelle and Drew Rutherford of Groves; grandchildren, Madison Rutherford, Nathan Rutherford, Noah Rutherford and Mitchell Tully, sister, Claudette Ellis and husband Bobby of Weatherford and nephew, Blake Ellis and wife Lori and their children and grandchildren of Weatherford. A visitation for family and friends will begin at 1:00 p.m., Friday, June 1, 2018 at Levingston Funeral Home in Groves with a graveside service to follow at 2:00 p.m. at Oak Bluff Memorial Park in Port Neches.
