Noel Elvina Ogburn, 84, of Nederland, Texas passed away Sunday, February 21, 2021 at The Medical Center of Southeast Texas in Port Arthur, Texas.

Noel was born December 25, 1936 in Groves, Texas to Angelo Provost and Joyce Burnett Provost.

She was a homemaker and a lifelong resident of this area.

Noel was preceded in death by her husband, Bynum Ogburn.

Surviving relatives include her sons, Mark Ogburn and wife Trish of Round Rock, Texas and Ivan Ogburn and wife Audrey of Spring Branch, Texas; sisters, Carroll Clubb and husband Bob of Fannett, Texas and Lorraine Varing and husband Donny of Groves, Texas; 4 granddaughters, Wendy Escobar, Sara Fox, Erinn Ogburn, and Hannah Ogburn; and 6 great-grandchildren.

I will always cherish the memories I have of Noel. She and I were thick as thieves when Her son Mark and I were married. She always did so much for us and she adored our daughter Wendy (her first granddaughter) She is missed

Mr. and Mrs. Ogburn were some of the nicest people I've ever met. I was their yard man for the last several years. I would always try to do their yard last so that I could visit with them. They both had a great sense of humor and I really enjoyed my visits with them. I also looked forward to the cookies she would bake for me and watching Too Cute on the Amimal Planet. Mrs. Ogburn was a very nice person and I will miss her very much. Mike Grimes
