Norma Aycock, 89, of Nederland, Texas passed away on Monday, September 28, 2015 at her residence. She was born August 5, 1926 in New Orleans, Louisiana.

She is survived by her daughter, Gay Sanford and husband, Jimmy; sons, Norman Aycock and wife, Dana and Cody Aycock; 6 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren. Norma was preceded in death by her husband, John C. Aycock II and her son John C. Aycock III.

A gathering of family and friends will be Thursday morning, October 1, 2015, from 8 a.m. to 10 a.m., at Melancon’s Funeral Home, 1605 Avenue H, Nederland, with the funeral service beginning at 10 a.m., followed by interment at Forrest Lawn Memorial Park, 4955 Pine St., Beaumont.

Memorial contributions may be made in Mrs. Aycock’s name to Brooke’s Believers, Inc., P.O. Box 7964, Beaumont, Texas 77726.
