Mrs. Forey kept me smiling in a class that could easily have pulled me under, and kept me interested in a subject that easily could have intimidated me, to the point where at one time I declared I wanted to be a genetic engineer— though my gifts lie most adamantly in other fields!:slightly_smiling_face:Such was her amazing spirit and her influence in my life... My love and prayers go out to her family and all who love her...May Jesus bless you all with the comfort only He can bring. Mrs. Forey, this isn’t goodbye, it is “See you later!” Heaven’s getting sweeter all the time!

Norma was an awesome Christian lady. She was my teacher at NHS. Then We made our ACTS retreat together and I got to know her in a whole different way. Then I taught her wonderful grandsons and she would come to school and help with their classes and I grew to love her as a grandparent. She LOVED those boys and would do anything for them. I am so honored to have the privilege to know her in so many of her roles. She was courageous, generous, loving person. My heart breaks for her beautiful family but I know they are a family filled with faith and God will wrap His arms around all of them and give them peace and comfort. Phyllis Arsement LaBure

I came to NHS in Aug. 2002. I remember the faculty being overjoyed that Norma was there for the first day of teacher inservice after maybe her first battle with cancer. She was obviously an important part of the faculty. After getting to know Norma I can honestly say she is the most courageous person I have ever met. She will be deeply missed by her peers at NHS.
