He was born to the late Frances Edmond Landry and Helen Stansbury Landry on November 9, 1949 in Port Arthur, Texas. He is survived by his loving wife of 40 years, Diane Miguez Landry of Port Arthur, son, Cole Landry and wife, Letty of Port Neches, son, Norwood E. Landry, Jr. and wife, Charity of Fannett, son, Ryan J. Landry and wife, Ebonie of Orange, daughter, Brandie Broussard and husband, Shawn of Nederland, and eleven grandchildren.A gathering of family and friends will be held at Heritage Funeral Home on Tuesday, May 25, 2010 from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. A memorial service will be will be held Wednesday, May 26, 2010 at 10:00 a.m. in the chapel of Heritage Funeral Home with Rev. Monty Hanks officiating. Arrangements are entrusted to Heritage Funeral Home, Johnny Huckaby funeral or.The family requests in lieu of flowers that donations may be made to Freedom Christian Fellowship Church.

I had good memories of Buddy. He tried to herd a bunch of cats I mean coach middle school and high school boys back in the early 80s at Mid County Christian Academy I was one of them. Years later, I ran into Buddy while I was working for the Labor Department. I was able to help part of his family get wages they had earned.May the peace that passes understanding be with the family now and in the days ahead.

I was so saddened to hear of Buddys passing, we sure had some wonderful times growing up together. They would always come by on Sundays after church and if mother had maccaroni and cheese he had to have some, he always called her Aunt Weenie.
