O. D. Perkins

O.D. Perkins, 80, of Port Arthur, Texas passed away Monday, December 13, 2010. He was born January 26, 1930 in Vernon Parish, Louisiana to Dillard Perkins and Armie Cloud Perkins. He was a resident of this area for 26 years and was a retired welder from Pipefitters Local 211. Survivors include his wife, Beverly Perkins of Cleveland, TX; daughters, Kathy King of Cleveland, TX, Joanna Willis and husband, Wayne of Axtell, TX; sons, Jimmy Perkins and wife, Janna of Houston, TX, Brady Perkins and wife, Patty of Cleveland, TX; sister, Mary Shearer of Wildwood, TX; grandchildren, Beverly Boytim, Terri Saulters, Kevin Willis, Trey Willis, Jimmy R. Perkins, Elaine Pounds; great-grandchildren, Ashley Saulters, Kayley Saulters, Shelly Saulters, Keigan Willis, Katie Boytim, Richard "Card" Boytim, Bella Boytim, Jack Boytim, and Jay Boytim. A visitation for family and friends will be Friday, December 17, 2010 from 4:00p.m.-6:00p.m. at Levingston Funeral Home in Groves, TX. Visitation will begin at 10:00 a. m. , Saturday, December 18, 2010 at Occupy #1 Baptist Church in Pitkin, Louisiana . Funeral services will be at 12 noon with Reverend Dudley Austin officiating. Burial will follow in the Church Cemetery.
