Olive Marie Schmuck

Mrs. Olive Marie Schmuck, 91, of Groves, Texas went to meet her Lord on Wednesday, December 10, 2014 at Oak Grove Nursing Home. Olive was born March 30, 1923 in Yoakum, Texas to John Dolsen and Lillian Woolsey Dolsen. She was a resident of Groves for the past 20 years, and member of First Baptist Church Groves. She was also a longtime member of the Eastern Star of Sour Lake, Texas. Olive was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas C. "Buddy" Schmuck; son Buddy Lynn Schmuck; and four siblings. Survivors include her daughter, Linda Broussard and husband Ken of Bridge City, TX; son, Larry Schmuck of Groves, TX; brother, Jack Dolsen; two grandchildren, Shea Broussard and Josh Schmuck; two great-grandchildren, Maddison and Silas; and nephew, Cecil Sanne. A visitation for family and friends will begin at 2:00 p.m., Sunday, December 14, 2014 at Levingston Funeral Home followed by a Memorial Service at 3:00 p.m. with Dr. Joe Worley and Reverend Charles Miller officiating.
