Opal Rayon Meyers

Opal Rayon Meyers, 87, of Nederland, Texas died peacefully in her sleep on Thursday, March 28, 2013 at her residence. Opal was born November 29, 1925 in Port Arthur, Texas to Ferdinand Rayon and Agnes Savoie Rayon. She was a homemaker and a lifelong resident of Nederland. Funeral services will be held Monday, April 1, 2013 at 10:00 a.m. at Levingston Funeral home in Port Neches with Reverend Monsignor Dan Malain officiating. Burial will follow at Greenlawn Memorial Park. Visitation for family and friends will be held Sunday, March 31, 2013 from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. at the funeral home. She was preceded in death by her husband, Norbeth R. Meyers. Surviving relatives include her daughter, Janice Feemster of Beaumont, Texas; son, Rodney Meyers of Nederland, Texas; grandchildren, Amber Meyers of Beaumont, Texas; Rodney "Bubba" Meyers, Jr. of Nederland, Texas; Zachary S. Feemster of Beaumont, Texas; and numerous nieces and nephews.
