Mrs. Cannon, Valetra and Regina, so sorry for your loss. Mr. Cannon was one of my all time favorite people going all the way back to the old neighborhood. So nice to see him at my dad's visitation 2-1/2 years ago. Much love to all of you!♡ Karen Sticker Buckner

My husband and I cherish our memories of our times with Oscar and Jeanette. He told us wonderful stories of his childhood and life adventures, always bringing us to laughter. One of his favorite topics was his love adventures of many years with Jeanette. His eyes would sparkle and shine with his deep devotion to her. His smile would broaden if she would say, "Oh, Oscar," or seem to be a bit embarassed. His love of family was also exceptionally strong. In fact, although our knowing them as a couple was too little for the few years it was, Oscar and Jeanette treated us, and I believe everyone, like honored members of their family and we felt like we were brother and sister with them. We were also church family That is the most valuable, admirable and outstanding trait about Oscar to me. He had deep relationship with God and followed Christ in such a way that you knew Oscar lived with a bigger purpose than most. I loved to talk about spiritual things with him and he encouraged me along my spiritual journey. Oscar was "the real thing;" that is, a man of God. Shine on, Oscar! Thanks for the memories! We will continue our relationship with your bride Jeanette! Save us a story for when we all meet again! Carolyn Newsom (and Boots, too)
