Pamela Ann Blanchard

Pamela “Pam” Blanchard, 68, of Nederland, Texas, passed away on October 8, 2022, at her residence in Nederland.

She was born in Omaha, Nebraska, on May 8, 1954, to her parents, Hillard and Viola Giblin. Pamela graduated high school from Port Neches Groves in 1972 where she is fondly remembered as a Drum Major and a track star, who set records in her day. She then went on to graduate college from UH in Houston, TX with an associate degree in Occupational Therapy, in which she practiced briefly throughout her years. . Pamela mainly served customers in Groves, Tx, for years behind the meat counter amongst her beloved friends and coworkers at Pasaros Grocery. Pamela also answered the call to take care of her mother Violet Klauman Giblin in Mrs. Giblin’s later years. “It’s hard to imagine a world without Pamela Ann Blanchard, I will do my best to adjust. I love you Mom” – your faithful loving son, Jake.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Hillard and Viola Giblin.

She is survived by her only son, Jacob Travis Blanchard of Nederland, TX; sisters, Sharon Haines of Cypress, TX; Katie Miller of Nederland, TX; and Sandy Root of Kemah, TX; brothers, Robert Giblin and his wife Vickie of Port Neches, TX; Ronnie Giblin and his wife Suzanne of Port Neches, TX; and Mike Giblin of Port Neches, TX.
