I visited Texas once a year throughout most of my childhood, and some of my happiest memories are from the times I spent at Aunt Pam and Uncle Roy’s house. I was always so excited to visit, and much of that excitement came from the way Aunt Pam filled her home with so much fun and joy. Whether we were painting Easter eggs, playing in the pool, or walking the dogs, she always had something special planned. She was incredibly generous with her home, her time, and her love. Aunt Pam was truly one of a kind, and visits to Texas won’t be the same without her.

I use to dig ditches for bottles and babysit just to be able to go Skating at Champions. I will never forget the day she offered me a job there. She literally saved my childhood. I loved every minute that I spent there. She was a strong mentor. I got to see her and Roy skate together one day. I was so impressed. Thank you Pam for being there for us. May you rest in peace.

Worked for Pam and Huck for many years at Champions and made many friends and can say Pam and I had a great relationship over the years. Lot of good talks between the two of us as well (she talked and I listened). Truly blessed to be a part of the Champions family in the 70's and early 80's. Great memories!

Pam was a great friend, mentor, role model and boss! Working at the skating rink was my first job in high school and into my early 20’s and Pam taught me so much that I carried with me throughout my entire career. Thank you for always trusting & teaching me so much! I’ve been gone from the Port Neches area for 40 years but when visiting my own family in the area I would always remember the Huckaby family. It was an honor to know Pam and know she will be missed by all!
