Patricia Danahay Bienvenu, 93, of Port Neches, TX, passed away April 29, 2016. She was born March 23, 1923, in Eureka, IL to the late Daniel Michael Danahay and Reta Crawford Danahay.

Patricia is survived by her daughter, Theresa Cochran of Nederland, TX; sons, Chuck Bienvenu and wife, Wanda of Nederland, TX, Rick Bienvenu of Beaumont, TX, Donnie Bienvenu and wife, Anita of Groves, TX, James Bienvenu and wife, Cindy of Port Arthur, TX, David Bienvenu of Beaumont, TX; sister, Jane Kramer of Chatham, IL; brother, Mike Danahay of Sulphur, LA; 14 grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren; 2 great-great-grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, Patricia is preceded in death by her husband, Martial Charles Bienvenu, Jr.

A gathering of friends and family will be Sunday, May 1, 2016 from 5 to 8 p.m. with a rosary recited at 6 p.m. at Melancon’s Funeral Home. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Monday, May 2, 2016 at St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church at 10 a.m. with Father John Hughes officiating. Interment to follow at Memory Gardens of Jefferson County.
