Patricia Ruddy, 78, of Port Arthur, Texas passed away Sunday, November 19, 2017 at the Medical Center of Southeast Texas. Patricia was born February 15, 1939 in Detroit, Michigan to Carl Wilhelm and Marion Pageau Wilhelm. Patricia was a longtime area resident and member of St. James Catholic Church. She taught CCD at St. Elizabeth Catholic Church in Port Neches and was also a member of La Sertoma. Survivors include her loving husband of 60 years, Dennis Ruddy of Port Arthur; daughter, Amy Westbrook and her husband Greg of Victoria; two sons, Jeff Ruddy and his wife Cammie of Moore, SC, and Joel Ruddy of Flagler, CO; sister, Carol Spiroff and her husband Bill of Colorado Springs, CO; brother, Carl Wilhelm of Ecorse, MI; and aunt, Barbara Binder of Port Austin, MI; five grandchildren, Derek Westbrook, Blake Westbrook, Patrick Ruddy, Brianna Ruddy, and Bryson Ruddy; and numerous nieces and nephews. A visitation for family and friends will begin at 5:00 p.m. Saturday, December 2, 2017 at Levingston Funeral Home in Groves, Texas followed by a memorial service at 6:00 p.m. with Monsignor Kenneth Greig officiating.
