Patricia Ann Woods, 84, of Nederland, Texas passed away Thursday, June 22, 2023, at Magnolia Manor Nursing Home in Groves. Patricia was born on August 18, 1938 in Port Arthur, Texas to William A. Totten, Sr. and Bertha Totten.

Patricia was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother. She cherished her family dearly and enjoyed spoiling her grandchildren. Patricia enjoyed cooking southern homestyle foods, baking from scratch, fishing and gardening. She was the epitome of what a housewife should be.

Patricia was preceded in death by her parents, William A. Totten, Sr. and Bertha (Savoy) Totten; spouse, Jerry Woods, Sr.; son, Ricky Woods; sisters, Molly Ensign and Thyra Rheams; brothers, Mike Totten, Wallace Totten and William A. Totten, Jr.; stepbrothers, Arthur Totten and Snook Mouton.

Those left to cherish Patricia’s memory include her daughter, Vickie Creel and her husband, Mike of Nederland; sons, Jerry Woods and his wife, Kathy of Beaumont; Carl Woods and his wife, Carol of Vidor; grandchildren, Shannon Barnes and husband, Kris; Alicia Barker and husband, Jonathan; Courtney Delage, Cody Woods and wife, Kari; Raymond Woods, Kayleigh Woods, Justin Woods and wife, Alex; Chris Woods and Sean Woods; numerous great grandchildren; brother, Raleigh Totten and his wife, Roseangela; and a host of extended family.

A gathering of family and friends will be held Saturday, June 24, 2023 from 1:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m., with a Celebration of Patricia’s Life to begin at 2:00 p.m., at Melancon’s Funeral Home in Nederland. A private graveside service will be held at Oak Bluff Memorial Park in Port Neches.
