Patrick Wayne Broussard

Patrick Wayne Broussard, 76, of Port Arthur, Texas passed away on Monday, January 8, 2024, at his residence in Port Arthur.

Patrick was born on December 17, 1947 to Anna Mae McGee Broussard and Lionel Broussard.  He graduated from Thomas Jefferson High School in 1966 and was brought up in the Catholic faith.  Patrick enjoyed wood working; traveled everywhere and often just picked up and went to all four corners of the United States as he loved adventures and seeing new sights.  He even went to the Bahamas where he first learned how to snorkel.  Patrick wasn’t afraid of anything and he pretty much was game to do anything and everything.  He also loved his cats; feral cats who came to his door every day and would be fed and taken care of.   There were usually eight to ten that would show up each day for attention. Patrick was beloved by his family; his brothers and sisters; nieces and nephews and everyone that knew him.  He was everyone’s “favorite uncle”.

Survivors include his brothers, Michael Broussard and his wife Beverly of Groves and Leonard Ray Broussard of Central City, Colorado; his sister, Lynda Bower of Nederland and her husband Paul; numerous nieces and nephews who loved him dearly.

Private Family cremation services will be held at a later date.  Arrangements were under the direction of Melancon-Levingston Funeral Home in Nederland.
