Patrick "Bruce" McBride, 77, of Groves, Texas passed away Wednesday, June 6, 2012 at Methodist Hospital in Houston, TX. Bruce was born in Church Point, Louisiana on March 18, 1935 to Everd and Burnadette McBride. He moved from Louisiana to Texas and was a resident of Groves, Texas most of his life. His family and friends will remember his strength, humor, and love for his family. Surviving relatives include his wife, Elaine McBride of Groves; mother-in-law, Ortha Addison of Groves; brother, Lindy McBride and wife Llewellyn of Port Neches; sisters, Janelle McBride and Sue Hearne of Port Neches and Port Arthur; son, Pat McBride and wife, Linda of Orange; daughters, Cindy Hagler and husband, Ricky of Mississippi; Sherri Deloney and husband, Jamey of Houston; grandchildren, Natalie Presley, Jon Hagler and wife, Nicole; Adam Guillory, Clint Hagler, Chelsea Guillory Skinner and husband Ryan, Shana McBride Boehm and husband, James; Shawn McBride, Tessa Hagler and Yelena Deloney; great grandchildren, Tiffany & Ashlynn Presley, Cace, Halle and Reece Skinner, Marrin Haskell; nieces, nephews, countless family members and friends. He is preceded in death by his parents Everd & Bernadette McBride and Father-in-law, Rudolph Addison, and son Neil Ray McBride. Funeral services will be at 2:00 p.m., Sunday June 10, 2012 at Levingston Funeral Home in Groves with Reverend Monsignor Bennie Patillo officiating. Burial will follow at Greenlawn Memorial Park. A visitation for family and friends will be held on Saturday evening from 5:00 p.m.-8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
