Patrick Eugene Sanders, born on October 19, 1972, in Poteau, Oklahoma , and departed this life on September 4, 2024, in Lafayette, Louisiana. He will be remembered with profound affection by all who had the pleasure of knowing him.

Patrick dedicated his career to the art of music as a Radio DJ for Cumulus Broadcasting. His vibrant personality and music infused joy and celebration into the lives of many throughout the years. He was passionate in being a DJ at weddings, school functions, social clubs, parties, and festivals, and was always eager to share his eclectic mix of tunes that touched the hearts of those around him.

Music was not merely a profession for Patrick; it was a fundamental part of his identity. He reveled in sharing his passion with family, friends, and the listening public, always striving to create memories through melodies that would linger in the hearts of those he encountered.

Patrick leaves behind a loving family who will cherish his memory. He is survived by his mother, Darlene Sanders of Oklahoma; his treasured children, daughter Cambree Sanders of Groves, daughter Chloe Sanders of Vidor, son Cayson Sanders of Groves, son Chase Butaud and wife Natalie of Port Neches, and daughter Courtlyn Butaud of Port Neches. His grandchildren, Zoey Simon and Riley Butaud, will carry forth his spirit and love of music. Additionally, he is survived by his sister, Kristi Bingham of California.

He was preceded in death by his father, Quentin Eugene Sanders.

Patrick Eugene Sanders was a beacon of light to many and his legacy will undoubtedly continue to resonate in the lives of his loved ones, just as the music he cherished continues to fill the air with harmony. His warmth, kindness, and dedication to celebrating life through music will never be forgotten. He will be remembered as an organ donor and that even with his passing that he would continue to be a ray of hope for other through organ donation! 

Service to celebrate the life of Patrick will be held on September 14, 2024 at 10:00 a.m. at Fellowship Baptist Church in Nederland, Texas.
