Patsy Joyce Goudeau

Patsy Joyce Goudeau, 80, of Groves, Texas passed away Sunday, July 11, 2021.

She was born in Noble, LA on September 26, 1940 to James Darryl and Alma Loraine Odom, Sr.

She married Donald M. Goudeau on December 12, 1959. They built a life together and raised their family in Groves, Texas.

Patsy was a member of Abundant Life Sanctuary of Groves (formerly known as Groves UPC). She retired from Serv-0-Mation where she worked as an attendant at PNGHS in the vending area. She was known as "The Quarter Lady" by all of the students.

Patsy loved going to flea markets, traveling, and spending time with her family and friends.

She is proceeded in death by her husband, Donald Marvin Goudeau, her parents James Darryl and Alma Loraine Odom, Sr., her brothers James D. Odom, Jr. and Max Odom and her sister-in-law, Nancy Odom.

She is survived by her daughter, Janet Gonzales and husband Allen of Groves, TX, her son David Goudeau and wife Angie of Port Neches, TX, grandsons Shayne Gonzales and wife Sunni of Lumberton, TX, Corey Goudeau of Vidor, TX and Logan Goudeau of Houston, TX, great granddaughter Savannah Gonzales of Lumberton, TX. She is remembered by Shawn Dreyer of Mauriceville, TX and Shyain Dreyer of Groves, TX of whom she had much love and affection. She is also survived by her brother, Joe Odom and wife Ruth of Nederland, TX, sisters-in-law Phyllis Odom of Groves, TX and Ruby Remmert and husband Merle of Bacliff, TX.

There will be a graveside service on Wednesday, July 14, 2021 at 11 a.m. at Memory Gardens in Nederland, TX under the direction of Levingston Funeral Home of Groves.

My memories of Patsy go back to high school in the 50's when things were so simple. She was so sweet & had the best sense of humor. She was the same when we visited years later. My sympathy goes out to her family as I know she will be greatly missed.

So sorry for her family's loss. Patsy was such a sweet person. I remember her big laugh. Always had a smile. She will be greatly missed by many.

I remember spending the night with Aunt Pat , Uncle Donny, Janet & David when we were kids. I loved spending time with them. I will miss her a lot. I love all of you, Linda Remmert Hester
