Patsy Hemmenway King, 82, of Port Neches, Texas passed away June 17, 2019. She was born in Nederland, Texas on February 15, 1937 to the late Asa Hemmenway and Annie Franklin Hemmenway. Patsy worked in customer service for Market Basket before retiring and was a member of First Assembly of God in Nederland.

Those left to cherish Patsy’s memory are her husband of 63 years, Almon King of Port Neches; her daughters, Phyllis Johnson and her husband, Howard of Port Neches and Rhonda Ranka of Port Neches; 2 grandchildren, Amanda Johnson and Ryan Ranka; and 4 great-grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents; her granddaughter, Kasey Ranka; and her brothers, Jack Hemmenway and Carl Hemmenway.

A gathering of family and friends will be held on Friday, June 21, 2019 from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. at Melancon’s Funeral Home with a funeral service to follow at 2:00 p.m. Interment will follow at Oak Bluff Memorial Park in Port Neches.
