Patsy June Landry, 81, of Port Neches, passed away Friday, March 7, 2014 at her residence in Port Neches with her loving family by her side.
Patsy was born, June 24, 1932 to the late Roy and Bobbie Montgomery in Paris, Arkansas and lived in Port Neches for 42 years.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:00 AM Monday, March 10, 2014 at Saint Elizabeth Catholic Church in Port Neches with burial to follow at Oak Bluff Memorial Park in Port Neches under the direction of Melancon’s Funeral Home in Nederland. A gathering of the family and friends will be from 5 to 8 PM Sunday with a rosary to be recited at 6:00 PM at the funeral home.
Patsy retired from the Beaumont ISD, as an Educator with 15 years of service. She valued education, and is most proud of her family who is following in her footsteps with three generations of educators. Patsy was a member of the BETA SIGMA PHI with 60 years of service, PHI KAPPA PHI, the Gulf Coast Area Sertoma Group, St Elizabeth Catholic Church, and was a Docent at the French Museum, a member of several Bridge Clubs, and loved to travel the world.
Patsy is survived by her loving family, husband, Darrell Landry of Port Neches; son Brian Landry Sr. and his wife Susan of Port Neches; daughter, Darla Nowak and her husband Raymond of Wildwood; five grandchildren, Sarah Butler and her husband Branden, Brandon Ellis, Courtney Ellis, Allison Landry,and Brian Landry Jr..
