Patsy Ruth Theriot Bodin, 87, of Nederland, Texas passed away on Friday, April 5, 2024, at her residence in Nederland.
Patsy was born on June 21, 1936, in Kaplan, Louisiana to Ida Babineaux Theriot and Odeon Theriot. She was a retired L.V.N. for St. Mary Hospital in Port Arthur for thirty years. Patsy enjoyed crocheting, knitting and anything to do with crafts. She was also an avid reader who loved her family dearly; she will be missed by all who knew her and loved her.
Patsy was survived by her daughters, Melanie Bodin of Nederland, Erin Cuellar and her husband Juan Cuellar, Jr. of Nederland, Patrice Soileau and her husband Kenneth Soileau of Woodville, Beth Ramirez and her husband Lon Ray Ramirez of Port Neches; eight grandchildren; fifteen great grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews and other family members who loved her dearly.
Patsy is preceded in death by her parents, Odeon and Ida Theriot; her son, Todd Bodin and his wife Jeanette Bodin; her grandson, Michael Ducote; five siblings and her husband, Roland Bodin who passed away on May 26, 2006.
A gathering of Family and Friends will take place from 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, April 10, 2024, at Melancon-Levingston Funeral Home in Nederland. Graveside Services will be conducted at 11:30 a.m. Wednesday at Greenlawn Memorial Park in Groves, Texas.
