Paul Nelton Bellard

Paul Nelton Bellard, 82, of Groves, Texas passed away Thursday, May 6, 2021 at his residence surrounded by his family.

Paul was born July 17, 1938 in Church Point, Louisiana to Lionel Bellard and Ida Savoie Bellard.

He was a resident of Groves for 79 years and a member of Freedom Christian Fellowship in Port Neches.

Paul was a retired Operator with Natural Gas Pipeline.

He proudly served in the US Army Reserve from 1960 to 1962.

He loved vintage cars and enjoyed spending time at area shows. His favorite car was the Satin Chariot, a Colonial Cream on Black 1957 Chevy.

Paul is survived by his sons, Brent Bellard of Groves, Chad Bellard and wife Angie of Nederland, and Corey Bellard and wife Laura of Port Neches; grandchildren, Kristopher Bellard, Jennifor Ray, Sara Hollier, Allen Bellard, Corban Bellard, and Marleigh Bellard; great-grandchildren, Allyssa Ray, Oaklynn, Freya, Samuel, Ashley, Heather, and his loyal K-9, Beau.

A Memorial service will be held Sunday, May 16, 2021 at 5:00 p.m. at Freedom Christian Fellowship, 1413 Port Neches Avenue, Port Neches, Texas.

Family and friends are invited to stay for dinner following the services.

Go way back with Paul in Port Arthur we made the drag on Procter St from sun up to sun down he was a lot of fun I am so sorry for the family's loss Art Armintor

Brent, Chad, and Corey, please accept my condolences on your father's passing. Paul was always kind to me when I was over at your house on Hayman those many times during our childhoods.
