Paul Lenard Daigle, 75, of Lumberton, Texas and formerly of Nederland, passed away on Friday, March 8, 2024, at Baptist Hospital in Beaumont, Texas with his loving family at his side.
Paul was born on August 31, 1948, in Port Arthur, Texas to Mary Ann Hebert Daigle and Welbert Joseph Daigle. He graduated from Thomas Jefferson High School in Port Arthur in 1966. He later attended Lamar College in Beaumont earning his welding degree. After forty-two years Paul retired as an operator from Huntsman. He was a member of Praise Church in Beaumont. Paul loved his Dallas Cowboys and his dog, Ginger. He and Yolanda loved to travel and would take the RV across the country to see new sights to get away to enjoy each other’s company. Most of all, Paul loved his family deeply; especially the grandchildren who he loved to spoil.
Survivors include his wife of fifty-six years, Yolanda Daigle of Lumberton; children, Troy Daigle and his wife Tanya of Nederland and his daughter, Shannon and her husband Reggie Lloyd of Lumberton; grandchildren, Chelsey Galloway, Kirsty Caldwell, Devin Moore, Ambri Lloyd, Addison Lloyd and Remi Lloyd; his brothers, Mike Daigle and his wife Martha of Luling, Louisiana and Clifford Daigle and his wife Susan of Bridge City, Texas.
Paul was preceded in death by his parents, Welbert and Mary Ann Daigle.
