Paul Terrell Davis, Sr., 81, of Port Acres, Texas passed away Wednesday, October 24, 2018. Paul was born September 17, 1937 in Port Arthur, Texas to Harry Davis and Nolia Derouen Davis. He was a lifelong resident of Port Acres and retired from Pipefitters Local 195 after 34 years of service. Paul was past member of Port Arthur Retrievers Club where he trained labradors for field trials. Paul proudly served his country in the United States Marine Corps. Survivors include his daughter, Danette Matthews and husband Leonard of Conroe; son, Paul Davis Jr. and wife Kim of Bridge City; sister, Darlene Ingram of Dallas; brothers, John Davis of Nederland and Ronnie Davis of Fannett; grandchildren, Sarah Yeldell, Madison Morrison and Mason Davis; great-grandson, Troy Yeldell. Graveside services will be at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, October 27, 2018 at Memory Gardens Cemetery in Nederland under the direction of Levingston Funeral Home in Groves.
