Hey Dad, Just wanted to leave you a note. I've missed you so much and father's day was a little hard with you not being here but I'm so glad you've made it to your eternal resting place with peace and I'm sure you are up there enjoying it just like you did before you left. I still feel your presence and laughter and see your smiles. I listen to your favorites songs a lot and the one I played for you. I think of you more than I ever have and try to teach the younger ones things I've learned from you. You were so fun to be around. A close person to me said you are probably up there putting on new guitar strings and playing in heaven. I love that thought and picture it sometimes. On father's day I found a lot of papers with messages that you wrote. I know your handwriting so well now, seeing it on all the music cds you made and other things. Just wanted to say Hi and of course tell you again that I love you.

When I think of Paul I can't help but smile. He was a man with such a strong and commanding presence. His smile, his laugh, the way his blue eyes lit up, his quick wit, positive energy, and spontaneity were such a delight to be around. He was one of those rare people who could walk into your life and make such a profound impact on you before you even knew what was happening. He was a rare find. I was truly blessed to have known such a wonderful man and thankful that he enriched my life even more by allowing me to meet, know, and love some of the greatest women I've ever had the privilege of knowing. My condolences to the Hammond Family. I love you all!
