Paula Gail Abshire, 48, of Nederland, Texas passed away on March 2, 2012 at Medical Center of Southeast Texas in Port Arthur. She was born in Lafayette, Louisiana to the late Lawrence Hebert and Shirley Turner Hebert on June 13, 1963. Paula was an area resident for 20 years and was employed as an office administrator at GAF.She is survived by daughter Chelsey Abshire of Nederland brothers Ronald Hebert of Maurice, La., and Ivy Hebert and wife Laurie of Maurice, La. nephew Lance Hebert niece Brittany Trahan grandmother Neola Turner of Maurice, La, and numerous friends and family.Funeral service will be at 2:00 p.m. on Monday, March 5, 2012, at Melancon39s Funeral Home, 1605 Avenue H, in Nederland with Rev. Joe Roberts officiating. Internment to follow at Oak Bluff Memorial Park in Port Neches. A gathering of family and friends will be held at Melancon39s Funeral Home on Monday, March 5, 2012, from 12:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m.
