Paula Faye Quebedeaux, 67 of Bridge City, Texas passed away Friday, September 25, 2020 at St. Elizabeth Hospital in Beaumont.

Paula was born April 10, 1953 in Port Arthur, Texas to Anthony Ames and Doris Dixon Ames. She was a lifelong area resident and was a retired bank teller with over 40 years of service.

She was preceded in death by her husband Michael Quebedeaux; daughter Amy McKee; sisters, Jacqueline Doyle, Rebecca Maddox, and Janice Breaux.

Survivors include her daughter, Misti Richard and husband Michael of Port Neches; son, Lawson Loper III and wife Whitney of Groves; sisters, Cassie Huggins of Austin, and Mary Methvin of Ravenna; grandchildren, Tyler Thibeaux, Katie McKee, Allison McKee, Lawson Loper IV, Bryan Dunmon, and George Pattillo; one great-granddaughter, Addalyn Sims.

A visitation for family and friends will begin at 1:00 p.m., Tuesday, September 29, 2020 at Levingston Funeral Home in Groves followed by the funeral service at 2:00 p.m. Burial will be at Memory Gardens Cemetery in Nederland.

I worked with Paula for many years. Through those years we became very good friends. Paula was very sorry, kind, and possessed a very big heart. I will miss and remember our long talks supporting each other through life's journey. To the family she loved, you are in my prayers. To Paula.. till we meet again my friend.. To the Moon and Back!

I had the opportunity to work beside Paula for a couple of years and there was never a dull moment....she had such a great personality and just made my day when I saw her smile. Rest in a peace sweet lady.....FLY HIGH!!

Paula was one of my best friends in high school. She became a part of my family after she married and had her children. She didn't have a mean bone in her body. Lost track of her after I moved from PA. RIP sweet Paula

My beautiful funny kind penpal Paula Fay Ames those day who my mum got via a magazine way back in the 60's . We wrote for years and sent each other gifts then sadly lost touch. Luckily via the net and facebook we reconnected and those young girls became friends again catching up where we left off . Will miss you you loved angels now you are one xx

I was a very close friend of Paula's and we actually reconnected last year and had plans to meet up when we could I worked with her for years and she was a amazing person. We never got the chance to get together but we had a special bond as dear friends. R.I.P. my dear friend. You will never be forgotten.

My dearest Paula since I was a young child and spent so much time at yalls house when aunt ann worked so many memories flood my mind in the room with all you girls with those old school fans rotating the sound was soothing aunt doris always hugs and smiles cassie and I walking to the store and dressing alike bb girl mary Jane came along and you always wanting me to rub your back later in life days at your house when i was pregnant at 16 with erin you and Sony and your kids all young and you drinking dr pepper so many times sorry we lost touch in our later years love you save a spot for me tell jackie aka my other mom hi and my niece damien
