Pauline Ivy Chatelain

Pauline Ivy Chatelain, 91, of Bridge City, Texas passed away July 1, 2020. She was born in Cornerville, Arkansas on November 9, 1928 to the late R. A. McKinzie and Pearl Nutt McKinzie.

Those left to cherish Pauline’s memory are her daughter, Mary Ann Howard and her husband Bob of Bridge City; her son Jerry Wayne Chatelain and his wife Phyllis of Bufford, South Carolina; her grandchildren, Shalian Mires, David Thacker, Christopher Chatelain, Brandie Steen, and Brian Chatelain; and her great-grandchildren, Derick Thacker, Daniel Mires, Christopher T. Chatelain, and Katherine Chatelain. She is preceded in death by her parents and her husband Lotie Chatelain, Jr.

A gathering of family and friends will be held on Monday, July 6, 2020 at Melancon’s Funeral Home in Nederland from 12:00 p.m. to 1:00 p.m. with a funeral service being held at 1:00 p.m. with Rev. Bobby Hoffpauir officiating. Interment will follow at Hillcrest Memorial Park in Orange.
