Pauline Porter

Pauline Porter, 92, of Groves, Texas passed away February 26, 2020. She was born in Ratcliff, Texas on April 14, 1927 to the late Robert H. McKinney and Kate Vaughn McKinney.
Those left to cherish Pauline’s memory are her daughter, Patricia Myer and her husband, Mark D. of Livingston; her grandchildren, Shelly Martin and her husband, Jessie of North Las Vegas, NV, Stephanie Doiron and her husband, Shawn of Silsbee, Greg Myer and Krista of Pearland, Chad Anderson and his wife, Hope of Nederland, and Brandi Anderson of Port Neches; her great-grandchildren, Alexis Gilhooly, Zarron Doiron, Zena Doiron, Zoe Doiron, Elena Myer, Valerie Myer, and Gracie Anderson; 3 great-great-grandchildren; and her sister, Eva Rasberry of Waco. She is preceded in death by her husband of 52 years, Melvin S. Porter; her parents; her daughter, Yvonne Anderson; her brother, Arthur A. McKinney; and her sisters, Barbara Montgomery and Trip Brent.
A gathering of family and friends will be held at Melancon’s Funeral Home in Nederland on Saturday, February 29, 2020 from 1:00 p.m. to 2:30 p.m. with a funeral service at 2:30 p.m. Interment will follow at Oak Bluff Memorial Park in Port Neches.
